International students can pay their fee in Dollars through a bank draft made in favor of Lahore University of Management Sciences to be issued by their home country’s bank.

 

International students are required to pay their fee in Pakistani Rupees through a bank draft made in favor of Lahore University of Management Sciences to be issued by their home country’s bank as per amount mentioned on their Tuition/Hostel Fee Vouchers. No other mode of payment will be acceptable.

Tax Exemption

An international applicant is required to meet the following criteria for claiming Tax exemption on the amount of fee to be paid to an educational institution under section 236I (6) of the Income Tax Ordinance 2001 of Pakistan:

Advance Tax under this section shall not be collected from a person (the guardian of applicant) who is non-resident and,

  1. Furnishes copy of the passport as an evidence to the educational institution that during previous year, his/her stay in Pakistan was less than one hundred eighty three days;
  2. Furnishes a certificate that he/she has no Pakistani income source;

Moreover, it is mandatory for an international applicant to fulfill the above mentioned conditions in order to obtain Tax free fees vouchers.
